2G scam: CAG report tabled in Parliament

New Delhi: The CAG report on the 2G spectrum scam was tabled in the Parliament on Tuesday even as the opposition continued to demand a Joint Parliamentary Committee to probe the accusations against former Telecom Minister A Raja. The Rajya Sabha was adjourned till 2:00 pm immediately after the report was tabled, while the Lok Sabha was adjourned till Thursday. The CAG report will now be taken up by Public Accounts Committee headed by MM Joshi, which has members from other parties too. The PAC will look at the findings of CAG, and if needed will summon people for questioning. This morning, both Houses witnessed unruly scenes and both were adjourned for an hour before
